The Advantages of Becoming A Travel Club Member

There are many advantages to becoming a travel club member, especially for travelers who are or desire to become prepared travelers or receive discounted vacations. But for most travelers, the option to become a travel club member was not an affordable option until recently.

In the past, the average cost for travel membership was somewhere between$ 3,000 - $ 10,000. Although these costs were well worth the trip price, the average family or the traveler could not afford it. When you think about it, the average family vacations once a year and with these prices one would not see a return on their investment in a travel membership. In other words, joining a travel club was not cost-efficient.

Now that the Internet creates competition that is raging within the travel industry and companies looking to grab their piece of the $ 7 trillion travel industry, travel memberships have become much more affordable and accessible.

There are several clubs to choose from when choosing a travel club membership, however, within this article I will focus on a number of advantages associated with a travel membership.

(* Please note that I cannot speak for nor am I an expert in travel, and that all membership companies are different. I will speak from my own experience associated with World Ventures, LLC, but you will find that most of the benefits offered are present in most clubs.)

One major benefit of joining a club trip is obviously the DISCOUNTED PRICE. For some memberships depending on the level of membership one can expect to receive 50% all the way up to 80% off regular room rates. However, with World Ventures, becoming a travel member, there is no level and every member receives the same discounts.

Another is that you are never committed to a single property and/or location when compared to owning a timeshare. Unlike those who owns a timeshare, where you pay a lot of money to stay in one place, with the travel club one has the option to vacation at any of the locations that are affiliated with the travel club. Depending on the travel membership you choose, this can be hundreds to tens of thousands of properties worldwide.

When it comes to timeshare prices, these properties can run anywhere from $10,000 to $ 90,000 or more which doesn't even include the cost of annual maintenance. As with World Ventures travel membership the cost is a one-time fee of $199 with a monthly membership fee of $29. However, with 4 referrals, one can receive a monthly fee waived, meaning that you're a travel club member for only a very small fraction of the price when compared to owning a timeshare.

Unlike many time-share properties in which the "owner" is allowed to stay only one week a year, club members travel are allowed to vacation from a few days to a few weeks many times a year at many locations (ex. islands resorts, hotel getaways, countries, vacation houses and more).

Contrary to the usual method of booking a hotel room, where you pay per person, per night. With a membership in the travel club, you will pay per room per week. Apparently, when you're booking your vacation, 50-80% off the room price and some bedrooms for up to 4, 6 or even 8 people are received; therefore, one can see that there are huge savings to be had. I have personally experienced saving on trips. For example I got a chance to stay vacation in the Cape Verde Islands for 12 days 11 nights, which was all inclusive, with my 3 year old daughter and my mother for only $1200. When factoring split costs, I came out of my pocket $600 for the two week stay at ClubHotel Riu Garopa.

With a travel club, not only are the rooms discounted but many different vacation packages are associated such as luxury resorts, hotels, cruises and more. Some companies even offer great rates to booking airline tickets, rental cars and family in association with the vacation package.

Most travel club members pre-book their rooms, so there is little-to-none chance that the members lose the date they want.

Another advantage of becoming a travel club is that members can book their travel vacations at the drop of a hat, even in high season with busy times such as Christmas and New Year, all without having to pay ridiculous prices or fear of not getting a reservation.

Travel members can show their family and friend the world for pennies on the dollar.

Having a travel club membership allows the average person or family to enjoy luxury accommodation and a lifestyle that is usually reserved only for the rich and famous.

Obviously there are many advantages of having a club tour, but remember, not all membership clubs are not created equal. While some are too expensive for the services they provide, others are simply not at all. So make sure you do your homework before spending your money on a trip member.
